Hello, I’m Scott.
I am a Husband and Father of 3 that has recently moved back to Milford. My Family attends Mile City Church and we have been home schooling for 8 years. When not undertaking a house project, I am involved in my kids sports. Currently I am the Girls Volleyball Varsity Head Coach for HEA Firebirds.
My back ground has primarily been in automotive engineering management where I learned to be detail oriented, network, and truly think outside the box to solve problems. I come from a family of business owners, am looking forward to learning this new industry, and promise that we will do our best for your business.

Hello, I’m Derek.
I’m the taller half of the dynamic duo that makes up Michigan Merchant Advocates. I also happen to be the guy behind the scenes building our service and banking relationships, enabling Scott to provide you with the best solutions on the market!
Fun Fact #1: Hometown - Highland, MI
I started in the payment card industry in 2005, back when you could still find “knuckle busters” under the counter and IP based terminals were a pipe dream. The experiences I’ve acquired over the last 17 years allows me to easily spot inefficiencies in a payment system, grants me access to a plethora of financial tools from multiple processing companies, and gives me first hand knowledge of troubleshooting nearly every possible issue when it comes to credit card processing.
Fun Fact #2: Graduate of Michigan State class of 2000

Fun Fact #3: If I could change one thing in my life it would be to USE the note cards I had for my Best Man speech at Scott’s wedding…it was TRULY horrific.
